Welcome to the Dales Pony Society

The Society maintains its own stud book and registers, and licenses all approved Dales Pony Stallions. It runs a Spring and a Summer breed show, a Performance show, an Annual Points Scheme, a Midlands show, a Southern show, an East Anglian show, an Annual Pleasure Ride and an Annual Driving Rally. A newsletter is published for Members in the Spring and Autumn.

On Monday 1 February 2010, the Animal Health Trust announced a service for testing for the Foal Immunodeficiency Syndrome (FIS). Although its website states that you can send samples through your own Vet, the Society would prefer if tests could arranged through the Secretary as the service is subject to a agreement which is still under review by both the AHT and the Society
